1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your VEVOR Gas Pole Saw. Please read and understand all instructions before using the product to ensure safe and efficient operation.
The VEVOR 25CC Gas Pole Saw is designed for trimming branches at various heights, offering an extendable reach and powerful cutting performance. It features a 25 cc two-stroke gasoline engine, an 8-inch cutting bar, and a detachable extension pole for ease of use and transport.
2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions can result in serious injury or death.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, a hard hat, and sturdy footwear when operating the pole saw.
- Work Area Safety: Keep bystanders, children, and pets at least 50 feet (15 meters) away from the work area. Clear the area of obstacles and ensure stable footing.
- Fuel Handling: Mix and store fuel in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources. Do not smoke while fueling. Always allow the engine to cool before refueling.
- Operation:
- Inspect the saw before each use for loose parts, damage, or fuel leaks.
- Hold the pole saw firmly with both hands. Maintain proper balance and footing.
- Do not operate the saw in poor weather conditions, such as strong winds or rain.
- Be aware of falling branches. Plan your cuts to avoid injury.
- Never cut above shoulder height.
- Avoid contact with the chain when the engine is running.
- Maintenance: Disconnect the spark plug before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
- Storage: Store the pole saw in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Empty the fuel tank before long-term storage.

4. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your VEVOR Gas Pole Saw:
- Attach the Guide Bar and Chain:
- Remove the chain cover from the saw head.
- Carefully place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
- Mount the guide bar and chain onto the saw head, aligning the chain with the sprocket.
- Replace the chain cover and tighten the nuts, leaving them slightly loose for chain tension adjustment.

- Attach Engine Unit:
- Connect the assembled pole sections to the engine unit. Ensure a tight and secure fit.
- Adjust Chain Tension:
- Using the provided tool, adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
- Once tension is correct, fully tighten the chain cover nuts.
- Attach Shoulder Strap:
- Attach the shoulder strap to the designated points on the pole saw. Adjust the strap for comfortable and balanced carrying.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Fueling
- This pole saw uses a 2-stroke gasoline engine. It requires a mixture of gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil. Refer to the engine unit for the correct mixing ratio (typically 25:1 or 50:1, depending on the oil type).
- Use the provided mixing bottle to accurately prepare the fuel mixture.
- Fill the 23 fl. oz. (650 ml) fuel tank with the prepared mixture. Do not overfill.
- Fill the 5.28 fl. oz. (150 ml) chain oil reservoir with appropriate chain lubricant. This ensures automatic lubrication of the chain during operation.

5.2 Starting the Engine
- Place the pole saw on a flat, stable surface.
- Set the choke lever to the "Closed" position (for cold starts).
- Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible.
- Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine attempts to start (usually 1-3 pulls).
- Once the engine sputters, move the choke lever to the "Open" position.
- Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before operating.
5.3 Operation
- Ensure you are wearing all required PPE.
- Hold the pole saw with both hands, maintaining a firm grip on the non-slip handle.
- Position yourself safely away from the cutting area and potential falling debris.
- Engage the trigger switch to start the chain.
- Make smooth, controlled cuts. Do not force the saw through branches.
- The pole saw can extend from 6.5 ft (2 m) to 9 ft (2.74 m) for reaching high branches.
- The 8-inch guide bar can cut branches up to 6 inches (15 cm) thick.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your pole saw.
- Chain Sharpening: Keep the saw chain sharp. A dull chain reduces cutting efficiency and increases kickback risk. Refer to a professional or use a suitable chain sharpening tool.
- Chain Lubrication: Regularly check the chain oil reservoir and refill as needed. Ensure the automatic oiler is functioning correctly.
- Air Filter Cleaning: Clean the air filter periodically to maintain engine performance. A dirty air filter can lead to reduced power and increased fuel consumption.
- Spark Plug Inspection: Inspect the spark plug for wear and clean or replace it as necessary.
- General Cleaning: After each use, clean the guide bar, chain, and engine unit to remove sawdust, sap, and debris.
- Storage: For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear any remaining fuel. Clean the unit thoroughly and store it in a dry, protected area.
7. Troubleshooting
