5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation (Train Locomotive)

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the train locomotive.
  2. Using a small screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.

5.2 Battery Installation (Remote Control)

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the remote control.
  2. Using a small screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

5.3 Remote Pairing

To pair the remote control with the train:

  1. Ensure both the train and the remote control are turned off. The switch on the train's underside should be in the middle position.
  2. Set both the train's channel switch (on the underside) and the remote's channel switch (on the bottom) to the same channel (A or B).
  3. For first-time pairing, turn the train on FIRST, then turn the remote on.

6. Operation

6.1 Train Controls (On-board Buttons)

The train locomotive features buttons on its top for direct control:

  • Press the forward button to move the train forward.
  • Press the reverse button to move the train backward.

  • Backward: Pull the lever backward.
