4. Setup Guide

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Ensure the radio is powered off.
2. Align the battery pack with the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
3. Slide the battery pack into place until it clicks securely.

4.2 Charging the Radios

The H777D radios can be charged using individual charge bases or the 10-way multi-unit charger.

1. Connect the AC adapter to the multi-unit charger or individual charge base, then plug it into a power outlet.
2. Place the radio (with battery installed) into the charging slot. Ensure proper contact.
3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Red typically indicates charging, while green indicates fully charged.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment

1. To power on, rotate the power/volume knob clockwise until you hear a click.
2. To adjust the volume, continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase or counter-clockwise to decrease.
3. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.

5.2 Channel Selection

1. Use the Up/Down buttons (usually located below the LCD screen) to select your desired channel.
2. Ensure all radios intended for communication are set to the same channel.

5.3 Transmitting and Receiving

1. To transmit, press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone.

3. To deactivate, long-press Side Key 2 again.

1. Short-press Side Key 2 twice to activate the flashlight.
