4. Setup Guide
4.1. App Download and Account Registration
Before setting up your camera, download the "O-KAM Pro" app from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS). Register for an account and log in.
4.2. Powering On the Camera
Connect the provided charging cable to the camera's power port and plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its self-test sequence.
4.3. Connecting to Wi-Fi
Open the "O-KAM Pro" app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your new camera. The camera supports dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) for optimal connection stability and speed. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you intend to connect the camera to during the setup process.

4.4. Mounting Options
The VSTARCAM camera can be placed on a tabletop or mounted on a wall or ceiling. Use the included pack of screws for secure wall or ceiling installation. Ensure the mounting location provides a clear view and is within range of your Wi-Fi network.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Once connected, open the "O-KAM Pro" app to access the live video feed. Use the on-screen controls to pan the camera horizontally up to 310° and tilt vertically up to 115° to view different areas of your room.

5.2. Two-Way Audio
Tap the microphone icon in the app to enable two-way audio. You can speak through your phone, and your voice will be transmitted through the camera's speaker. Similarly, you can hear audio from the camera's environment through your phone.

5.3. Night Vision Modes
The camera features enhanced color night vision with built-in high-power LEDs. You can switch between IR Night Vision (black and white), Full Color Night Vision, and Smart Night Vision modes via the app settings to suit your monitoring needs in low-light conditions.

5.4. Motion Detection and Person Tracking
The camera uses AI algorithms to smartly identify human figures. When motion or a person is detected, the camera can send real-time notifications to your smartphone and automatically track the person's movement within its field of view.

5.5. Storage and Playback
Recordings can be saved to a local TF card (up to 256GB, not included) or to the encrypted cloud storage service (subscription may be required). Access recorded footage and navigate through the timeline for convenient playback within the app.
5.6. Customizable Activity Zones and Guard Positions
Define specific activity zones within the app to focus motion detection on areas that matter most, filtering out irrelevant alerts. You can also set up to 5 preset guard positions, allowing the camera to automatically patrol and monitor these designated areas.
5.7. Schedule Detection Time
Customize the time periods for motion detection to activate. The camera will only monitor and send alerts during your specified schedule.
5.8. Multi-Camera Management and Sharing
The "O-KAM Pro" app allows you to manage multiple VSTARCAM cameras simultaneously, viewing up to four cameras at once. You can also easily share camera access with family members, allowing multiple users to view the live feed and recordings.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Software Updates: Regularly check the "O-KAM Pro" app for firmware updates. Keeping your camera's software up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security.
