1. Introduction

Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your new freezer to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape.
  • Inspect the freezer for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
  • Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.

2.2 Placement

  • Place the freezer on a firm, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., stove, heater).
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space on all sides for proper air circulation.
  • The freezer is equipped with built-in wheels for easy mobility. Simply tilt and roll the unit to its desired location.

2.3 Electrical Connection

  • Before plugging in, allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
  • Connect the freezer to a dedicated 120V AC outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Temperature Control

The freezer features a 7-level adjustable temperature control dial located on the front of the unit. Rotate the dial to select your desired temperature setting.

  • Settings 1-3: Ideal for refrigeration or light freezing (e.g., beverages, fruits, vegetables).
  • Settings 4-7: Suitable for deep freezing (e.g., ice cream, seafood, meats).

The temperature range is between -11.4°F and 10.2°F. Adjust the dial to achieve the optimal preservation for your stored items.

3.2 Removable Storage Basket

The freezer includes a removable storage basket for organizing smaller items or those you need to access frequently. This helps prevent items from getting lost at the bottom of the freezer.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Defrosting

This freezer requires manual defrosting. Defrost the unit when frost accumulation reaches about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thick. To defrost:

  1. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
  2. Remove all food items and store them in another freezer or cooler.
  3. Open the drain plug located at the bottom of the freezer to allow water to escape. Place a shallow pan or towel underneath to collect the water.
  4. Leave the lid open to allow the frost to melt naturally. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting, as this can damage the unit.
  5. Once defrosted, clean the interior with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before plugging the unit back in.

4.2 Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
  • Ensure the condenser coils at the back of the unit are free of dust and debris for optimal energy efficiency.

5. Troubleshooting
