Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic precautions:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- This heater has an automatic shut-off feature if it reaches 122°F or is left unattended for 12 hours. It also features V-0 flame retardant materials and tip-over protection.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for off-season storage.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials. Do not place it on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that may block air vents.
- Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
Operating Instructions
Your JRD Space Heater can be operated using the touch control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
Power On/Off
- Press the Power button (
) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater on or off. - When turning off, the heater will enter a 30-second cool-down period before fully shutting down.
Heat Modes
The heater offers three heat modes: High (1500W), Low (900W), and ECO.
- Press the Mode button (
) to cycle through the modes: HI (1500W), LO (900W), ECO. - ECO Mode: In ECO mode, the heater intelligently adjusts its power output (between 900W and 1500W) to maintain a set temperature, optimizing energy consumption.

Thermostat Control
Set your desired room temperature between 41°F and 90°F.
- Use the Temperature Up (
) and Temperature Down (
) buttons on the control panel or remote to adjust the target temperature. - The heater will automatically turn on or off to maintain the set temperature.
Oscillation Function
The heater can oscillate up to 75° to distribute warmth evenly across a wider area.
- Press the Oscillation button (
) to activate or deactivate the oscillation feature.

Timer Function
Set the heater to automatically turn off after a specified duration (1 to 8 hours).
- Press the Timer button (
) repeatedly to select the desired shut-off time. The display will show the set hours.
Remote Control
The included remote control allows convenient operation from a distance. Ensure the remote has working batteries.

Quiet Operation
The heater is designed for quiet operation, making it suitable for bedrooms and offices.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper storage will help maintain the performance and longevity of your heater.
Cleaning
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently clean the air intake and exhaust grilles to remove dust and lint.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
Storage
When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry location. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
Troubleshooting
