5. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clear space around all sides for optimal airflow. Avoid placing near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Power Connection: Insert the power adapter into the power port on the unit, then plug the other end into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V AC, 50/60Hz).
4. Initial Operation: For best results, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours before first use if it was transported horizontally.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• Press the Power Button once to turn the dehumidifier on. The display will illuminate, showing the current temperature and humidity.
• Press the Power Button again to turn the unit off.

6.2 Humidity Display

The control panel continuously displays the current room temperature and relative humidity, allowing you to monitor the environment.

6.3 Ambient Light Control

• Press the Light Button to cycle through the 7 available ambient light colors or to turn the light off.
• Hold the Light Button to lock the current color.

6.4 Auto Shut-Off and Water Tank Full Indicator

The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off function. When the 98 oz water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating, and the water level indicator will illuminate red. This prevents overflow. Empty the water tank and reinsert it to resume operation.

6.5 Timer Function

Use the Timer Button to set a desired operating duration. Press repeatedly to cycle through available timer settings (e.g., 2H, 4H, 8H, 12H). The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

7.1 Emptying the Water Tank

1. When the water tank is full, the unit will stop and the indicator light will turn red.
2. Gently pull out the water tank from the back of the unit.
3. Carefully pour out the collected water.
4. Rinse the tank with clean water and dry it before reinserting.
5. Push the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation if it was on.

7.2 Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
2. Locate the air filter (usually behind the air inlet grille).
3. Remove the filter.
4. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it gently with warm, soapy water.
5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.
6. Reinsert the dry filter and plug in the unit.

7.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior

• Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
