Troubleshooting

Using the Switch Button

The switch button on the device is primarily used to change the connection mode if your car supports Android Auto but not CarPlay. It is not used to switch between iPhone and Android phone types, as the device auto-detects the phone type.

Scenario 1: Failure to Display on Car Screen

  1. Connect the car box to your car's USB port.
  2. After powering on, wait approximately 40 seconds for the indicator light to turn red.

Scenario 2: With System Display on Car Screen (but incorrect mode)

  1. Connect the car box to your car's USB port.
  2. Wait for the system interface to appear on the car screen.

Switch Button Operation (for both scenarios):

  • Long Press (3s): Press and hold the switch button for 3 seconds.
  • Release: Release the button.
  • Short Press (1s): Immediately press the button briefly for 1 second.

The box indicator will turn off, and the system will restart automatically in the alternate mode.
