7. Troubleshooting
- Issue: Device does not power on.
Solution: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the charger and check if the green charging indicator light is on. If not, verify the charger connection and power source. - Issue: Cannot detect IP cameras.
Solution: Verify that the IP camera is properly connected to the LAN/POE port. Ensure the camera is powered on. Check network settings on the tester and the camera to ensure they are on the same subnet or configured correctly. Perform an IP Discovery scan. - Issue: CVBS analog camera not displaying video.
Solution: Confirm that the camera is a standard CVBS analog camera. This tester does not support AHD/TVI/CVI coaxial HD cameras. Ensure the BNC video cable is securely connected to the CVBS Input Port and the camera. Verify the camera is receiving power from the DC12V/3A OUT port via the Power Output Converter. Open the "CVBS" application on the tester. - Issue: Battery life is shorter than expected.
Solution: Ensure the device is charged in a moderate temperature environment. Avoid frequent deep discharges. If the issue persists, the battery may require service. - Issue: Network cable TDR test results are inaccurate.
Solution: Ensure the cable length is within the 1-195 meter measurement range. Verify that the cable is properly terminated and free from damage.
