1.2 Safety Precautions
Always prioritize safety when operating welding equipment.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.
- Ensure adequate ventilation to avoid inhaling welding fumes.
- Connect the machine to a properly grounded power source.
- Avoid touching live electrical parts.
- Keep children and unauthorized personnel away from the welding area.
- The machine is equipped with over-voltage, over-current, and over-heat protection. Do not bypass these safety features.
2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully unpack all components. Inspect the welder and accessories for any signs of damage during shipping. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
2.2 Power Connection
Connect the welder to a suitable power supply as indicated on the machine's rating plate. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and can handle the required amperage.
2.3 Gas Connection (TIG Welding)
For TIG welding, connect the inert gas cylinder (e.g., Argon) to the gas inlet on the rear of the machine using a gas hose and regulator. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
2.4 Torch and Ground Clamp Connection
- Connect the TIG torch cable to the appropriate connector on the front panel.
- Connect the ground clamp cable to the ground terminal and securely attach the clamp to the workpiece.
- For Stick welding, connect the electrode holder to the appropriate terminal.
2.5 Foot Pedal Connection
Connect the foot pedal cable to the designated foot pedal port on the front panel of the welder. The foot pedal allows for remote amperage control during TIG welding.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Control Panel Overview
The ANDELI TIG-200 ACDC features a 5.2-inch LED display for clear parameter monitoring. Familiarize yourself with the control panel buttons and knobs for mode selection, amperage adjustment, and other settings.

3.2 General Operation Steps
- Turn on the main power switch.
- Select the desired welding process (e.g., AC TIG, DC TIG, Stick).
- Adjust welding parameters such as amperage, pulse frequency, and gas pre/post-flow according to the material and thickness.
- Ensure proper grounding of the workpiece.
- Begin welding, maintaining a stable arc and appropriate travel speed.
3.3 TIG Welding (AC/DC)
For AC TIG welding, select the AC TIG mode. This is typically used for aluminum and magnesium. For DC TIG welding, select the DC TIG mode, suitable for stainless steel, carbon steel, and titanium. Adjust the balance control for AC TIG to manage cleaning action and penetration.
3.4 Cold Welding
The Cold Welding function is designed for low-heat welding of thin materials, minimizing thermal distortion and spatter. This mode is ideal for heat-sensitive applications. Select the Cold Welding mode and adjust parameters as needed for the specific material.
3.5 Foot Pedal Usage
When the foot pedal is connected and activated, it provides remote amperage control. Pressing the pedal increases the amperage, allowing for precise control during the weld. This feature enhances efficiency by eliminating the need to adjust settings directly on the machine during operation.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your welder.
- Daily: Inspect cables, torch, and ground clamp for damage. Clean the torch nozzle and check the tungsten electrode.
- Weekly: Clean the machine's exterior. Check gas connections for leaks.
- Monthly/Quarterly: Open the machine (ensure power is disconnected) and use compressed air to blow out dust from inside, especially from cooling fins and circuit boards. Inspect internal connections.
- Store the welder in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter. For problems not listed here, contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power to machine | Power cord disconnected, circuit breaker tripped, machine switch off | Check power cord, reset breaker, turn on machine switch |
| No arc initiation | Poor ground connection, incorrect settings, faulty torch/electrode | Ensure ground clamp is secure, verify settings, inspect/replace torch parts |
| Inconsistent weld quality | Improper gas flow, contaminated tungsten, incorrect travel speed/amperage | Check gas supply/flow, clean/replace tungsten, adjust welding technique |
| Overheat indicator active | Exceeded duty cycle, blocked ventilation | Allow machine to cool down, ensure clear airflow around vents |
