6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

No Signal / Black Screen

  • Check Cables: Ensure all cables (USB-C, HDMI) are securely connected to both the monitor and the source device.
  • Power Supply: Verify the monitor is receiving adequate power. If using HDMI, ensure a separate power source is connected to the monitor's USB-C port.
  • Source Device Output: Confirm your source device (laptop, phone) is configured to output video to an external display. On Windows, press Windows Key + P to cycle through display modes. On macOS, check System Preferences > Displays.
  • Input Source: Use the OSD menu to manually select the correct input source (USB-C or HDMI).
  • USB-C Compatibility: If using a single USB-C cable, ensure your device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and power delivery.

No Power / Monitor Not Turning On

  • Power Connection: Ensure the USB-C power cable is connected to a working power source (wall adapter, laptop USB port, power bank).
  • Power Source Capacity: Verify the power source provides sufficient wattage for the monitor.
  • Try Different Cable/Port: Test with a different USB-C cable or a different USB-C port on the monitor if available.

Display Flickering / Unstable Image

  • Cable Quality: Use the provided cables or high-quality certified cables.
  • Power Supply: Ensure stable power delivery. Insufficient power can cause flickering.
  • Refresh Rate: Check your source device's display settings to ensure the refresh rate is compatible with the monitor (60Hz).

No Audio from Speakers

  • Volume Level: Check the monitor's OSD menu for volume settings and ensure it's not muted.
  • Source Device Audio Output: Verify your source device is set to output audio to the portable monitor.
  • External Speakers/Headphones: If using the 3.5mm audio jack, ensure your external audio device is properly connected and functional.
