Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lid.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  5. Ensure the power switch (located near the battery box) is in the 'ON' position.

2. Installing Trash Bags

  1. Remove the lid from the trash can body.
  2. Lift the bag retainer ring from the inner bucket.
  3. Place a 13-gallon (50 L) trash bag (such as the included K-coded bags) into the inner bucket.
  4. Fold the top edge of the trash bag over the bag retainer ring.
  5. Insert the bag retainer ring with the secured bag back into the inner bucket.
  6. Place the lid back onto the trash can body, ensuring it is properly aligned. The bag will be concealed once the lid is closed.

Operating Instructions

Motion Sensor Opening (Option 1)

  • Wave your hand over the sensor, located on the front of the lid, within 9.8 inches (25 cm).
  • The lid will automatically open.
  • After 5 seconds of no activity, the lid will automatically close.

Touch Button Opening (Option 2)

  • Press the circular touch button located on the front of the lid.
  • The lid will open and remain open for 15 minutes, ideal for longer tasks or continuous use.
  • To close the lid earlier, simply press the touch button again.

Soft-Close Mechanism

Maintenance

Cleaning

Troubleshooting
