5. Setup & Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the efficient operation of your portable air conditioner. Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface near a window and a grounded electrical outlet.

5.1 Exhaust Hose Installation:

  1. Attach the hose connector to one end of the exhaust hose by twisting it clockwise until secure.
  2. Attach the adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
  3. Insert the hose connector into the exhaust outlet on the back of the air conditioner unit.

5.2 Window Slider Kit Installation:

The window slider kit is designed for both horizontal and vertical sliding windows.

  1. Measure the window opening and adjust the window slider kit to fit securely.
  2. Place the adjusted window slider kit into the window opening.
  3. Connect the adapter end of the exhaust hose to the opening in the window slider kit. Ensure a tight seal to prevent hot air from entering the room.
  4. Close the window firmly against the slider kit to secure it in place.

5.3 Drainage Setup (Dehumidifier Mode):

When operating in dehumidifier mode, or if the internal water tank becomes full during cooling, the unit will require drainage. Connect the provided drain pipe to the drainage outlet on the unit and direct it to a suitable container or floor drain.

6. Operating Instructions

Your portable air conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control. It also supports WiFi connectivity for control via a smartphone app.

6.1 Control Panel & Remote Control:

Refer to the diagrams in the remote control section of this manual (or on the unit itself) for specific button functions such as Power, Mode, Fan Speed, Timer, Temperature Up/Down, and Oscillation.

6.2 Operating Modes:

  • Cooling Mode: Select this mode for active cooling. Set your desired temperature using the Up/Down buttons. The unit will cool until the room reaches the set temperature.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose from Low, Automation (Auto), or High fan speeds.
  • Dehumidifying Mode: Reduces moisture in the air. The unit will extract humidity, and water will collect internally or drain via the pipe.

  • Sleep Mode: Operates quietly with reduced fan speed and gradually increases the set temperature over time for comfortable sleep.
  • Auto Mode: The unit automatically selects the operating mode (Cooling, Fan, or Dehumidifying) based on the ambient room temperature.

6.3 Timer Function:

Press the Timer button to set the desired operating duration (1-24 hours) for automatic power on or off.

6.4 WiFi Connectivity:

The unit is WiFi enabled, allowing control via a smartphone application. Refer to the separate WiFi setup guide (if provided) or the app's instructions for pairing your device.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.

7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter:

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling.
  4. Reinsert the dry filter into the unit.

7.2 Draining Accumulated Water:

The unit has an internal water collection tank. When full, the unit may stop operating and display an indicator. Drain the water using the provided drain pipe as described in Section 5.3.

7.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior:

Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

7.4 Storage:

If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is completely drained of water, cleaned, and stored in a dry, upright position.
