1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Strex Airfryer XXL SP334. This appliance is designed to cook a variety of foods using hot air circulation, offering a healthier alternative to traditional frying methods. With its dual 5-liter baskets, 10 pre-set programs, and intelligent cooking functions, you can prepare complete meals efficiently. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Read all instructions before use.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the main unit in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

3.1 Components

• Main Unit: Houses the heating element and fan.
• Control Panel: Digital display and touch controls for settings.
• Cooking Baskets (x2): Removable 5-liter baskets with non-stick coating.
• Crisper Plates (x2): Inserted into the baskets for optimal air circulation.
• Power Cord: 1.5 meters long for flexible placement.

3.2 Control Panel

The intuitive digital control panel allows for easy adjustment of settings and selection of cooking programs.

• Power Button: Turns the appliance on/off.
• Temperature/Time Adjustment: Buttons to increase or decrease temperature and cooking time.
• Pre-set Programs: 10 dedicated icons for common dishes (e.g., fries, chicken, fish, meat, vegetables).
• SYNC FINISH: Synchronizes cooking times for different foods in each basket to finish simultaneously.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove all packaging materials from the airfryer.
2. Check that all components are present and undamaged.
3. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

1. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
2. Wash the cooking baskets and crisper plates in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
3. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

4.3 Placement

• Place the airfryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure there is at least 10 cm of free space around the back and sides of the appliance to allow for proper ventilation.
• Do not place the appliance directly against a wall or under cabinets during operation.
• Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

1. Place the crisper plate into the cooking basket.
2. Add ingredients to the cooking basket. Do not overfill.
3. Slide the basket back into the airfryer.
4. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
5. Select a basket (1 or 2) if cooking in only one, or proceed for both.
6. Adjust the temperature (50°C to 200°C) and time using the +/- buttons.
7. Press the Power button again to start cooking.
8. The airfryer will beep when cooking is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and remove food.

5.2 Using Pre-set Programs

The airfryer comes with 10 pre-programmed settings for common dishes.

1. Prepare ingredients and place them in the basket(s).
2. Press the Power button.
3. Select the desired pre-set program icon on the control panel. The default time and temperature for that program will display.
4. You can manually adjust the time and temperature if needed.
5. Press the Power button to start cooking.

5.3 Dual Cook Function

Use DUAL COOK to apply the same cooking settings to both baskets simultaneously. This is ideal for cooking larger quantities of the same food.

1. Prepare ingredients and place them in both baskets.
2. Press the Power button.
3. Press the DUAL COOK button.
4. Set the desired temperature and time. These settings will apply to both baskets.
5. Press the Power button to start cooking.

5.4 Sync Finish Function

The SYNC FINISH function allows you to cook two different foods with different cooking times, ensuring they both finish at the same moment.

1. Prepare ingredients for both baskets.
2. Press the Power button.
3. Select Basket 1 and set its temperature and time.
4. Select Basket 2 and set its temperature and time.
5. Press the SYNC FINISH button. The airfryer will automatically adjust the start times for each basket so they conclude cooking simultaneously.
6. Press the Power button to start.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your airfryer.

6.1 Cleaning After Each Use

1. Unplug the airfryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the cooking baskets and crisper plates.
3. Wash the baskets and crisper plates in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Use a non-abrasive sponge.
4. Wipe the exterior of the airfryer with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasives or metal scouring pads.
5. Clean the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a soft brush to remove food residue from the heating element.
6. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or next use.
