3. Setup

Filling the Water Tank:

1. Press the release button and pull out the water tank from the straightener.
2. Carefully open the rubber stopper on the tank.
3. Using the provided squeezed bottle, fill the tank with distilled or purified water. (Distilled water is recommended for best performance and to prevent mineral buildup).
4. Press the rubber stopper firmly back into place to seal the tank.
5. Reinsert the water tank into the straightener until it clicks securely into position.

Attaching the Detachable Comb:

1. Align the narrow end of the comb with the groove on the side of the straightener plate.
2. Gently slide the comb into the groove until it snaps securely into position.
3. To remove, simply slide it back out.

4. Operating Instructions

Preparation:

• Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and free of tangles.
• Plug the straightener into a standard electrical outlet.

Power On and Temperature Setting:

1. Press and hold the power button to turn on the straightener. The LED screen will display the current temperature.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature. Choose a setting appropriate for your hair type:
• 300°F (150°C) for fine or fragile hair
• 340°F (170°C) for medium or straight hair
• 370°F (190°C) for wavy or loose curls
• 410°F (210°C) for thick or textured hair
• 450°F (230°C) for very coarse or natural curls
3. Allow the straightener to heat up to your selected temperature. The LED display will indicate when it's ready.

Activating Steam Function:

If you wish to use the steam function, press the dedicated steam button to activate it. Steam will begin to emit from the plates.

Styling Your Hair:

1. Section your hair into manageable portions.
2. Place a section of hair between the straightener plates, close to the roots.
3. Firmly clamp the hair between the heated plates and glide smoothly from the roots to the ends.
4. For optimal results with the detachable comb, ensure the comb side is facing down to smoothly guide the hair. Facing it up may pull or snag hair.
5. Repeat the process for each section of hair until desired results are achieved.

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the straightener and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Empty any remaining water from the tank after each use to prevent mineral buildup.

Storage:

• Store the straightener in a cool, dry place, away from moisture.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance, as this can damage the cord.

• No Steam: Ensure the water tank is properly filled with distilled water and securely inserted. Check if the steam button is activated.
• Straightener Not Heating: Verify the appliance is properly plugged into a working outlet and the power button is pressed.
• Hair Snagging: Ensure the detachable comb is inserted with the comb side facing down. Check for any hair tangles before styling.
• Uneven Heat: Allow sufficient time for the straightener to reach the set temperature. Ensure hair sections are not too large.
