5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Finding Your Items
The Google Find Hub app offers two primary ways to locate your items:
- Close Range (Play Sound): When your tracker is within Bluetooth range, open the Find Hub app, select your tracker, and tap "Play Sound." The tracker will emit an audible alert, helping you pinpoint its exact location.
- Long Range (Navigate): If your tracker is out of Bluetooth range, the Find Hub app will display its last known location on a map, utilizing the vast network of Android devices. You can then use the app's navigation feature to get directions to the item's location.

5.2 Lost Item Alerts & Lost Mode
To enhance the security of your items, the FineTrack G offers Lost Item Alerts and a dedicated Lost Mode:
- Lost Item Alerts: If your tracker moves out of range from your phone, the Google Find Hub app will send an alert with the last known location of the tracker.
- Lost Mode: If an item is confirmed lost, activate Lost Mode in the Find Hub app. You can leave your contact information (message and phone number). Any nearby Android device that detects your lost tracker can then access this information, facilitating its return.
5.3 Family Sharing
You can share the location of your UGREEN FineTrack G trackers with family members or trusted contacts through the Google Find Hub app. This allows multiple people to help keep track of important items.
- In the Find Hub app, select the tracker you wish to share.
- Tap the "Share device" option and follow the on-screen instructions to share access with others.

| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| Tracker not pairing | Ensure Bluetooth and Location are enabled on your Android phone. Make sure the Google Find Hub app is updated. Press the power button on the tracker to ensure it's on. Try restarting your phone and the tracker. |
| Cannot hear the tracker's sound | Ensure the tracker is within Bluetooth range of your phone. Check the volume settings within the Find Hub app. The tracker's speaker may be obstructed. |
| Location not updating | Ensure your phone has an active internet connection. The tracker relies on nearby Android devices to update its location when out of your phone's range. Ensure location services are active on your phone. |
| Battery draining quickly | Ensure the USB-C dust plug is properly sealed. Frequent use of the "Play Sound" feature can consume more battery. Ensure the tracker is not constantly searching for a connection in areas with poor Bluetooth coverage. |
