4.2 Installation Steps
- Prepare the Door: Ensure the door is clean and the existing hardware is removed. Verify door thickness and bore hole dimensions match the specifications.
- Install the Latch: Insert the latch into the door edge and secure it with screws. Ensure the latch bolt faces the correct direction for your door's swing.
- Install the Exterior Assembly: Route the cable from the exterior assembly through the cross bore hole. Position the exterior assembly on the door, ensuring the spindle aligns with the latch.
- Install the Interior Mounting Plate: Secure the interior mounting plate to the exterior assembly using the provided screws.
- Connect Cables and Install Interior Assembly: Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly. Carefully tuck excess cable into the door. Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate and secure it with screws.
- Install Batteries: Open the battery cover on the interior assembly and insert 4 AA batteries (not included), observing polarity.
- Test Operation: Close the door and test all unlocking methods (fingerprint, PIN, key) to ensure smooth operation.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Unlocking Methods
- Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock in approximately 0.2 seconds.
- PIN Code: Enter your registered PIN code on the keypad, followed by the '#' key. The anti-peep function allows you to enter random digits before or after your actual PIN for added security.
- IC Card: Tap your registered IC card against the designated sensor area on the lock.
- Mobile App: Use the dedicated mobile application to remotely unlock the door. This feature also allows for two-way audio communication with visitors via the integrated doorbell.
- Mechanical Key: In case of emergency or battery failure, use the provided mechanical key to unlock the door.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
The CAMCAMP DL02 Smart Lock operates on 4 AA batteries. The mobile application will provide early warnings when battery levels are low. To replace batteries:
- Remove the battery cover on the interior assembly.

- Insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery cover.
In case of complete battery depletion, use the USB-C emergency power port located on the exterior assembly to temporarily power the lock and gain access.
