Important Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions before using this heater to prevent fire, electric shock, injury, or property damage.

• Always place the heater on a firm, level surface. The unit is equipped with a tip-over safety switch that automatically shuts off the heater if it is not upright.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 3 feet (0.9 meters) between the heater and any flammable materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains.
• Do not cover the heater. Covering the heater can lead to overheating and fire.
• The heater features an automatic shut-off at 105°F (40.6°C) to prevent overheating. If the internal components reach excessive temperatures, the heater will power off.
• Unplug the heater from the power outlet when not in use. Allow at least 20 minutes for the unit to cool down before handling or moving it after use.
• Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• This heater is for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all packaging materials from the box. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Attach Feet (if applicable): Some models may require attaching feet for stability. Locate the two extra feet pieces and slide them into the designated slots at the base of the radiator until they are securely in place. This elevates the heater, preventing direct contact with the floor or carpet.
3. Placement: Place the heater on a stable, level surface, ensuring it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from walls, furniture, and any flammable objects. Ensure the power cord is not obstructed or placed under the heater.
4. Power Connection: Plug the heater into a standard wall outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the electrical requirements of the heater (120 Volts, 5.9 Amps).

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the red 'ON' button located on the front panel. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying the heater is powered on.
2. Adjust Heat Level: Turn the rotary thermostat knob to select your desired heat level. Options typically include 'LOW' and 'HIGH'.
3. Set Temperature: To set a specific temperature, turn the thermostat knob clockwise towards 'HIGH' until you hear a click. The heater will then adapt to and maintain that temperature. If you wish to decrease the temperature, turn the knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click. The heater will readjust accordingly.
4. Warm-up Time: Allow approximately 15 minutes for the radiator to reach its set temperature and begin radiating heat effectively.
5. Power Off: To turn off the heater, press the red 'OFF' button. The indicator light will turn off.

Maintenance

The Air Choice Oil Filled Radiator Heater is designed for low maintenance. The oil inside the heater is permanently sealed and does not require replacement or refilling.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. You may wrap the power cord around the designated cord storage area if available.

Troubleshooting

• Heater does not turn on:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Check if the 'ON' button is pressed.
  • Verify the heater is on a stable, level surface to ensure the tip-over switch is engaged.
  • Confirm the thermostat knob is set to a heat level above the current room temperature.
• Heater turns off unexpectedly:
  • The overheat protection may have activated. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes, and then restart. Ensure there are no obstructions around the heater.
  • The tip-over switch may have activated if the heater was bumped or moved. Place it back on a stable, level surface.
