4. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your Herture Reptile Terrarium. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.
4.1. Unpacking and Preparation
- Carefully open the packaging and remove all components.
- Place all parts on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify all parts using the package contents list.

4.2. Terrarium Frame Assembly
- Place the terrarium base on a flat, stable surface.
- Insert the four metal poles into the designated holes on the base. Ensure they are securely seated.
- Slide the side acrylic glass panels into the grooves on the metal poles.
- Insert the H-bar into the central groove for the front sliding doors.
- Carefully slide the two front acrylic doors into their respective tracks.
- Install the door knobs onto the sliding doors. Ensure the glass is clean before installation.
- Place the top frame with the mesh lid onto the assembled glass panels and metal poles. Secure it with the provided metal screws and rubber caps.

4.3. Storage Cabinet Assembly
Assemble the storage cabinet according to the diagrams provided in the separate cabinet assembly guide (if applicable, or follow general furniture assembly principles). Ensure all panels are correctly oriented and secured with the provided hardware. The terrarium unit will sit securely on top of the assembled cabinet.

6. Operation
6.1. Accessing the Terrarium
- Front Doors: The acrylic doors slide horizontally for easy access. Use the provided lock and key to secure the doors when not in use.
- Mesh Top: The entire mesh top can be opened for full access to the terrarium interior, facilitating cleaning and decor arrangement.
6.2. Using the Power Outlet
The built-in 4-AC socket power strip allows for convenient connection of essential reptile equipment. Plug in heating lamps, UVB lighting, humidifiers, and thermostats directly into the strip. Ensure the total wattage does not exceed the strip's maximum capacity.
6.3. Cable Management
Utilize the designated cable pass-through holes on the mesh top to neatly route power cords, temperature probes, and misting system tubing into the terrarium, maintaining a tidy and safe environment.
7. Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the terrarium regularly to maintain a hygienic environment for your pet. Remove waste and soiled substrate as needed.
- Glass Cleaning: Use a reptile-safe glass cleaner or a damp cloth to clean the acrylic panels. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface.
