Safety Information

Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Remove all packaging materials. Place the freezer on a firm, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Allow adequate space around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 4 inches on sides and back, 8 inches on top).

2. Leveling the Appliance

Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the freezer to ensure it is stable and level. This prevents vibrations and ensures proper door sealing.

3. Door Reversal

The door is reversible and can be adjusted to open from either the left or right side to suit your space requirements. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for this procedure.

4. Initial Power-On

After placement and leveling, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging the unit into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Set the temperature control to the desired setting.

Operating Instructions

1. Temperature Control (Convertible Function)

This appliance features a convertible temperature control, allowing it to function as either a freezer or a refrigerator. Use the control dial to select your desired mode and temperature range:

  • Freezer Mode: -7.60°F to 6.80°F (-22°C to -14°C)
  • Refrigerator Mode: 37.94°F to 46.94°F (3.3°C to 8.3°C)

2. Adjustable Shelves and Crisper Drawer

The freezer includes 5 glass shelves and a crisper drawer. The shelves can be removed or repositioned to accommodate items of various sizes, such as pizza boxes or tall bottles. The crisper drawer is ideal for keeping fruits and vegetables fresh when in refrigerator mode.

3. Ice Tray

An ice tray is included for convenient ice production.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regularly clean the interior and exterior of the freezer with a mild detergent and warm water. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.

2. Defrosting

This is a manual defrost unit. When frost accumulates to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness, defrost the unit. A removable defrost tool is included. Unplug the unit, remove all food, and allow the frost to melt naturally. Do not use electrical heaters or sharp instruments to speed up defrosting.

3. Energy Efficiency

To maximize energy efficiency, ensure the door seal is tight, avoid frequent door openings, and keep the condenser coils clean.
