Setup Instructions

1. Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the clock.
2. Insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Identifying Controls

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and switches on the back of the clock:

• AL.ON / AL.OFF Switch: Turns the alarm on or off.
• 12/24 YEAR Button: Used to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, and to set the year.
• HOUR/MON Button: Used to set the hour and month.
• MIN °C/°F Button: Used to set the minute and switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display.
• SENSOR ON/OFF Switch: Activates or deactivates the automatic night light sensor.
• LOCK / AL.SET / DATE.SET / TIME.SET Slider: This slider is used to select the setting mode.

3. Setting Time and Date

1. Slide the LOCK / AL.SET / DATE.SET / TIME.SET slider to TIME.SET.
2. Press HOUR/MON to adjust the hour.
3. Press MIN °C/°F to adjust the minute.
4. Press 12/24 YEAR to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.
5. While in TIME.SET mode, you can also set the year by pressing 12/24 YEAR repeatedly until the year flashes, then use HOUR/MON and MIN °C/°F to adjust.
6. Slide the slider to DATE.SET to set the month and day. Use HOUR/MON for month and MIN °C/°F for day.
7. Once done, slide the slider back to LOCK to save settings and prevent accidental changes.

4. Setting the Alarm

1. Slide the LOCK / AL.SET / DATE.SET / TIME.SET slider to AL.SET.
2. Press HOUR/MON to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press MIN °C/°F to adjust the alarm minute.
4. Once the desired alarm time is set, slide the slider back to LOCK.
5. To activate the alarm, ensure the AL.ON / AL.OFF switch is in the AL.ON position. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

5. Temperature Unit Selection

In normal time display mode (slider set to LOCK), press the MIN °C/°F button to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

Operating Instructions

1. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 5 minutes. The alarm will continue to sound for 60 seconds with a gradually faster beep noise if not snoozed or turned off.

To cancel the snooze and turn off the alarm for the day, press any button on the back of the clock, or let the alarm ring for one minute without operation.

2. Night Light / Backlight

• Manual Backlight: In any mode, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock to illuminate the screen for 5 seconds.
• Automatic Night Light (Sensor): Slide the SENSOR ON/OFF switch on the back of the clock to ON. The clock will automatically emit a soft glow in low-light conditions, allowing you to see the time clearly in the dark without pressing any buttons. Slide the switch to OFF to disable this feature.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace all 3 AAA batteries when the display becomes dim or functions become erratic. Always use new batteries of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Storage: If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
• Environment: Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
