2. Product Overview

2.1 Front View and Display Elements

- SENSOR ON/OFF Switch: Activates or deactivates the automatic night light sensor.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Insert 3 new AAA carbon batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- The clock display will activate.
Important: Only use AAA carbon batteries. Do not use alkaline batteries.
3.2 Initial Time and Date Setting
- Slide the mode selector switch (LOCK/AL.SET/DATE.SET/TIME.SET) to TIME.SET.
- Press the HOUR/MON button to adjust the hour. The hour will flash.
- Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the minute. The minute will flash.
- To set the year, press the 12/24 YEAR button.
- To set the month, press the HOUR/MON button.
- To set the date, press the MIN/DATE button.
- Once time and date are set, slide the mode selector switch back to LOCK to save settings.
- To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the 12/24 YEAR button while in LOCK mode.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting the Alarm
- Slide the mode selector switch to AL.SET.
- Press the HOUR/MON button to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the alarm minute.
- Once the alarm time is set, slide the mode selector switch back to LOCK.
- To activate the alarm, slide the AL.ON/AL.OFF switch to AL.ON. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
4.2 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds:
- Press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock to activate snooze. The alarm will pause for 5 minutes and then sound again.
- To stop the alarm completely, press any button on the back of the clock, or let it ring for one minute without intervention. The alarm will automatically stop after 60 seconds if no button is pressed.

4.3 Night Light and Sensor Function
- Manual Backlight: Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top to illuminate the display for approximately 5 seconds.
- Automatic Night Light (Sensor): Slide the SENSOR ON/OFF switch on the back to ON. The clock will automatically emit a soft backlight in low light conditions, allowing for continuous visibility of the time.
- To disable the automatic night light, slide the SENSOR ON/OFF switch to OFF.

4.4 Temperature Display
- The clock displays the indoor temperature automatically.
- To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the MIN/DATE, °C/°F button while in LOCK mode.

5. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display dims or functions become unreliable. Always use 3 new AAA carbon batteries.

- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
