4.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove the safe from its packaging.

  3. Locate the emergency keys. These are typically taped to the outside of the safe or included in a small bag. Do not store them inside the safe.

4.2. Battery Installation

  2. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover.

4.3. Setting Your Personal Code

The safe comes with a factory default code (usually 1-2-3-4 or 0-0-0-0). It is highly recommended to change this immediately.

  1. With the safe door open, locate the red reset button on the inside of the door, near the hinge.

  3. Within 5 seconds, enter your desired personal code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  4. Press the "A" or "B" button (or "#" or "*" depending on model) to confirm your new code. You will hear a confirmation beep.
  5. Test your new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

4.4. Mounting the Safe (Optional)

For added security, the safe can be mounted to a wall or floor using the pre-drilled holes and included hardware.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting. Ensure the surface is sturdy enough to support the safe's weight.
  2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
  3. Drill pilot holes into the wall or floor using an appropriate drill bit.
  4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided mounting bolts and washers. Tighten securely.
