Controls and Ports

Setup

Powering the Device

The KLIM Boombox E1 can be powered via the included AC adapter or its internal rechargeable battery.

1. AC Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the boombox and plug the other end into a wall outlet.
2. Battery Power: The device features a high-quality rechargeable battery. For first use, fully charge the battery by connecting the AC adapter. The battery indicator on the LED display will show charging status.

Remote Control Battery Installation

Insert the two AAA alkaline batteries (included) into the remote control, ensuring correct polarity.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the unit or remote control.
2. Select Mode: Press the Mode button repeatedly to cycle through CD, FM, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX modes. The selected mode will be shown on the LED display.
3. Adjust Volume: Use the Volume control buttons on the unit or remote control.

CD Playback

1. Open the CD compartment cover.
2. Place a CD (audio CD or MP3 CD) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
3. Close the CD compartment cover.
4. Press the Mode button to select CD mode. The device will automatically start playing the CD.
5. Use the Skip/Search buttons to navigate between tracks.

FM Radio

1. Press the Mode button to select FM Radio mode.
2. Extend the FM antenna for better reception.
3. Press and hold the Skip/Search buttons to automatically scan for and save available stations.
4. Press the Skip/Search buttons briefly to manually tune or select saved stations.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Press the Mode button to select Bluetooth mode. The LED display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
3. Search for "KLIM Boombox E1" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
4. Once paired, the boombox will emit a confirmation sound, and "BT" will stop flashing. You can now stream audio wirelessly.

USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive (containing MP3 files) into the USB port.
2. Press the Mode button to select USB mode. The device will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files.
3. Use the Play/Pause and Skip/Search buttons to control playback.

AUX Input

1. Connect one end of the included 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX IN port on the boombox.
2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
3. Press the Mode button to select AUX mode.
4. Control playback and volume from your external device.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• CD Lens Care: If CD playback issues occur, use a specialized CD lens cleaner disc.
