1. Important Safeguards
Please read all instructions carefully before using this appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always use the provided heat-resistant gloves when handling the hot grill pan or lid.
- To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the cord, plugs, or the main unit in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. This appliance features a Child Safety Lock.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for assistance.
- The maximum total power for both heating elements should not exceed 1800W.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance during use.

3. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup before first use:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the removable grill pan and lid with warm, soapy water. Wipe the induction cooktop base with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly.
- Placement: Place the induction cooktop base on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, ensuring there is sufficient space around it for ventilation.
- Assemble: Place the removable grill pan securely onto the induction cooktop base.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V~60Hz electrical outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on, press the Power button (
). The display will light up. - To turn off, press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
4.2 Grill Function
When the removable grill pan is placed on the induction cooktop, the machine will automatically enter grill function mode. Both heating elements work together with a single temperature setting.
- Ensure the grill pan is correctly positioned on the cooktop.
- Press the Grill Function button (
). The default setting is temperature level C5. - Adjust the temperature level (C1-C5) by rotating the rotary knob. Refer to the 'Temperature / Power Settings' table in Section 6 for corresponding temperatures.
- The grill will begin to heat. You can place food on the non-stick surface.
- Use the lid to help lock in heat and cook food more evenly.

4.3 Induction Cooktop Function (without grill pan)
When the grill pan is removed, the appliance functions as a dual induction cooktop. Each burner can be controlled independently.
- Ensure the grill pan is removed.
- Place compatible magnetic cookware on either induction zone.
- Press the Power button for the desired side (left or right).
- Adjust the power level (P1-P9) by rotating the corresponding rotary knob. Refer to the 'Temperature / Power Settings' table in Section 6 for corresponding power levels.
- The maximum power should not exceed 1800W total. If one side is set to a high power, the other side's maximum available power will decrease accordingly.

4.4 Timer Function
The timer can be set for up to 99 minutes.
- Press the Timer button (
). The display will show '00'. - Rotate the rotary knob to set the desired cooking time from 1 to 99 minutes.
- The timer will start counting down. Once the time expires, the appliance will automatically turn off.

4.5 Child Safety Lock
To activate the child safety lock:
- Press and hold the Lock button (
) for 3 seconds. The control panel will be locked, preventing accidental changes to settings. - To deactivate, press and hold the Lock button again for 3 seconds.

5. Cooking Tips
- Preheating: For best results, preheat the grill pan for 5-10 minutes before adding food. This ensures even cooking and better searing.
- Using the Lid: The cleverly designed lid locks in heat, ensuring that your food warms up quickly and evenly, enhancing its flavors and aroma.
- Non-Stick Surface: The removable baking tray features a special non-stick coating that allows food to slide off effortlessly. Minimal oil is needed.
- Less Smoke, Less Mess: The design of the grill minimizes smoke, making it suitable for indoor use.
- Versatility: This electric grill pan handles it all—juicy steaks, crispy veggies, fluffy pancakes, even grilled seafood.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your AMZCHEF appliance.
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Removable Grill Pan: The removable baking tray can be easily removed for hand washing or placed in the dishwasher.
- Cooktop Base: Wipe the induction cooktop base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
- Lid: The lid can be washed with warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

Note: When both stoves are working by power setting mode at the same time, the maximum power should not exceed 1800W total. Once total power over 1800W after setting of one stove, the power of another one will decrease accordingly.
