1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this electric space heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • This appliance is for indoor use only.
  • Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where water may be present.
  • Ensure the heater is plugged directly into a 120V wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  • Ensure the heater is firmly plugged into the outlet. A loose connection may cause overheating and fire.
  • The heater's surface, especially the heating element, becomes extremely hot during operation. Avoid direct contact with hot surfaces to prevent burns.
  • Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • Do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater is equipped with an Overheat Protection System that automatically shuts off the unit if it overheats. If this occurs, unplug the heater, wait 30 minutes for it to cool, and then plug it back in.
  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  • Supervise children and pets when the heater is in operation.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Minetom Space Heater:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
  2. Choose Location: Select a suitable indoor location with a standard 120V wall outlet. Ensure there are no combustible materials within 3 feet (0.9 meters) of the heater.
  3. Plug In: Insert the heater directly into a wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  4. Adjust Plug (if needed): The heater features a 180-degree rotatable plug. If the heater is not upright or obstructs other outlets, press the button located under the plug and rotate the heater to the desired position. Release the button to lock it in place. Ensure the heater is firmly seated in the outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the control panel and follow these steps to operate your heater.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn the heater ON, press the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) located on the side or front of the unit. The LED display will illuminate.
  • To turn the heater OFF, press the Power button again. The display will turn off.

5.2 Setting the Temperature

The heater features a digital thermostat allowing you to set a desired temperature between 60°F and 90°F.

  1. With the heater powered on, use the "Temp+" and "Temp-" buttons on the control panel to adjust the desired temperature.
  2. The LED display will show the set temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature.

5.3 Using the Timer Function

The timer function allows you to program the heater to automatically turn on or off after a set period (1 to 12 hours).

  • Auto Shut-Off Timer:
    1. Ensure the heater is powered ON.
    2. Press the "Timer" button repeatedly to scroll through the desired number of hours (1 to 12).
    3. The LED display will show the selected time. The heater will automatically turn off after the set duration.
  • Auto Power-On Timer:
    1. Ensure the heater is powered OFF.
    2. Press the "Timer" button repeatedly to scroll through the desired number of hours (1 to 12).
    3. The LED display will show the selected time. The heater will automatically turn on after the set duration.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your heater.

  • Cleaning:
    1. Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
    2. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
    3. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or polishes as these may damage the finish.
    4. Gently vacuum the air intake and exhaust grilles to remove dust and lint.
    5. Never immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
  • Storage:
    1. Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use.
    2. It is recommended to store the heater in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your heater, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
