4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Assembling the Bracket

  1. Carefully unpack the acrylic bracket components.
  2. Attach the two acrylic stand pieces to the back of the monitor using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened to provide a stable base.

4.2 Connecting to a Device

The monitor supports various devices including Raspberry Pi, RDK X3, and Jetson Nano. Follow the appropriate connection diagram for your device:

  • For Raspberry Pi: Connect the monitor to your Raspberry Pi using the Micro HDMI display cable and the Micro USB touch + power supply cable.
  • For RDK X3: Connect the monitor to your RDK X3 using the Micro HDMI display cable and the Micro USB touch + power supply cable.
  • For Jetson Nano: Connect the monitor to your Jetson Nano using the Micro HDMI display cable and the Micro USB touch + power supply cable.
  • For General Computers: Connect via HDMI for display and Micro USB for touch functionality and power.

Ensure all cables are securely connected before powering on the devices. The monitor is driver-free for touch functionality on compatible systems.

4.3 Raspberry Pi Mounting (Optional)

The monitor features M2.5 mounting holes on the back, specifically designed for attaching a Raspberry Pi directly. Use the provided screws and copper posts for secure installation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Button Interface Overview

The monitor features several buttons and interfaces on its side/back for control and connectivity.

5.2 Touch Screen Operation

5.3 Backlight Adjustment

Use the 'D' side button to adjust the screen brightness. Each short press cycles through brightness levels in 10% increments. A long press (3 seconds) will turn the backlight off, and another long press will restore it to its previous setting.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe the monitor casing with a dry, soft cloth.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the monitor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the monitor to strong impacts. The reinforced glass panel is durable but not indestructible.

7. Troubleshooting
