1. Important Safety Instructions
Before using your Uten Blender, please read all instructions carefully and retain them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always ensure the blender is unplugged before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.

- Keep hands and utensils out of the jar while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but only when the blender is not running.
- Do not blend hot liquids. Allow hot ingredients to cool before blending to prevent pressure buildup and potential scalding.
- Ensure the lid is securely in place before operating the blender.
- Do not operate the blender with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Safety Lock Feature: The blender will only operate when the glass jar is correctly aligned and locked onto the motor base. If the blue light is on but the blender doesn't run, check the jar's alignment.

- Ice Crush: Press the "Ice Crush" button for a dedicated ice crushing cycle (approximately 39 seconds).
- Smoothie: Press the "Smoothie" button for an optimized smoothie blending cycle (approximately 1 minute).
After using any program or manual speed, turn the dial to "OFF" and unplug the blender before removing the jar.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Uten Blender.
- Unplug: Always unplug the blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Self-Cleaning Function: For quick cleaning, add warm water and a drop of dish soap to the glass jar (do not exceed half capacity). Secure the lid. Run the blender on a low speed or use the "Pulse" function for 30-60 seconds. Empty the jar and rinse thoroughly.
- Manual Cleaning:
- Glass Jar, Lid, Measuring Cup: These parts are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended) or can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water.
- Blade Assembly: Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the blades as they are sharp. Use a brush to clean around the blades. Ensure to dry the blades and blade base immediately after cleaning to prevent corrosion and extend product life.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Drying and Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the blender. Store in a dry place.
6. Troubleshooting

| Blender does not start (blue light is on). | Glass jar is not correctly aligned or locked onto the motor base. | Ensure the glass jar is securely placed and rotated clockwise until it clicks into its locked position. |
| Blender does not start (no lights). | Blender is not plugged in, or power outlet is not active. | Check that the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. |
| Motor stops during operation. | Overheating due to prolonged use or blending excessively thick mixtures. | Unplug the blender and allow it to cool down for at least 15-20 minutes. Reduce the load or add more liquid before restarting. |
| Ingredients are not blending smoothly. | Too little liquid, too many solid ingredients, or ingredients are too large. | Add more liquid, reduce the amount of solid ingredients, or cut ingredients into smaller pieces. Use the "Pulse" function to break down larger pieces. |
| Loud noise or vibration. | Jar not seated correctly, or ingredients are unbalanced. | Turn off and unplug the blender. Re-seat the jar. Redistribute ingredients evenly. |
