Setup and Assembly

Operating Instructions

Your Marsail Futon Couch features adjustable backrest and armrests, allowing it to convert between a sofa and a bed.

Adjusting the Backrest:

1. To recline the backrest, gently push the backrest forward until you hear a click.
2. Continue pushing forward to release the locking mechanism.
3. Slowly lower the backrest to your desired angle or fully flat position.
4. To return to an upright position, lift the backrest until it clicks into place at the desired angle.

Adjusting the Armrests:

• The armrests can be adjusted independently. Gently lift the armrest upwards.
• Lower it to your desired angle. The mechanism will click into place at various positions.
• To fully lower the armrest to a flat position (for bed conversion), lift it to its highest point, then push it slightly forward to release the lock, and lower it completely.

Converting to a Bed:

1. Ensure there is sufficient clear space behind and to the sides of the futon.
2. Adjust both armrests to their fully flat position.
3. Adjust the backrest to its fully flat position.
4. The futon is now in its bed configuration.
