2. Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following safety precautions:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs when moving this heater.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions within 3 feet (0.9 m) of the front, sides, and rear of the heater.
- Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz, ≥15A power outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.

6. Operating Instructions
The KopBeau HC-01R heater can be operated using the touch control panel on the top of the unit or the included remote control.

- Power Button (red circle with power symbol): Turns the heater ON or OFF.
- Mode Button (wave symbol): Cycles through heating modes: High (H2), Low (H1), ECO, and Fan Only.
- Temperature Adjustment (+/- buttons): Increases or decreases the desired temperature setting (40-99°F). Each press adjusts by 1°F.

- Oscillation Button (curved arrow symbol): Activates or deactivates the 80° oscillation function.
- Timer Button (clock symbol): Sets the auto-off timer from 1 to 24 hours. Press repeatedly to select desired duration.
- Sound Button (speaker symbol - remote only): Mutes or unmutes button press sounds.
- Child Lock Button (lock symbol - control panel only): Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the child lock, preventing accidental changes.

Automatic Shut-off
When the heater is turned off, it will initiate a 15-second countdown before completely powering down. This allows the internal components to cool safely.

The heater also features a 24-hour auto shut-off for continuous operation safety. To cancel this, touch the timer button for 3 seconds.

7. Maintenance
Cleaning the Detachable Filter
Regular cleaning of the detachable filter helps maintain optimal performance and air quality.
- Power Off and Unplug: Ensure the heater is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Locate Filter: The detachable filter is located on the rear of the unit.
- Remove Filter: Gently pull the filter cover to detach it from the heater.
- Clean Filter: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the filter. If necessary, rinse with water and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- Reinstall Filter: Align the filter with its slot and push it back into place until it clicks securely.
