5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The DeoneTag uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery. When the battery level is low (which can be checked via the app), it can be easily replaced. A single CR2032 battery provides over one year of usage.

  1. Gently twist or pry open the DeoneTag casing to access the battery compartment.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the casing securely, ensuring it is properly sealed to maintain its waterproof rating.

5.2 Waterproofing

The DeoneTag is rated IP68, meaning it is protected against continuous immersion in water up to a specified depth and is dust-tight. This allows for worry-free use in rain or other wet conditions. Ensure the casing is always securely closed after battery replacement to maintain its waterproof integrity.
