3. Setup

3.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

3.2. Battery Installation and Charging

1. Drone Batteries: Insert the two Lithium Ion batteries into the designated battery compartments on the drone. Ensure they click securely into place.
2. Charging Drone Batteries: Connect the drone batteries to the provided USB charging cable. Plug the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Charge until fully indicated.
3. Controller Battery: The screen controller has an integrated rechargeable battery. Connect the controller to a USB power source using its dedicated charging port.

3.3. Controller Setup

The E88 GT Drone features a dedicated screen controller for an enhanced user experience.

1. Power On: Press and hold the power button on the controller until the screen illuminates.
2. Pairing: Power on the drone. Place the drone on a flat, level surface. The drone and controller should automatically attempt to pair. Follow any on-screen prompts on the controller for successful connection.
3. Calibrate: Perform a gyroscope calibration by moving both joysticks to the bottom-right corner simultaneously until the drone's lights flash rapidly, then release. This ensures stable flight.

4. Operating Your E88 GT Drone

4.1. Basic Flight Controls

Familiarize yourself with the controller's joysticks and buttons:

• Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw):
  • Up/Down: Controls altitude (throttle).
  • Left/Right: Controls yaw (rotation).
• Right Joystick (Pitch/Roll):
  • Up/Down: Controls pitch (forward/backward movement).
  • Left/Right: Controls roll (sideways movement).

4.2. One-Key Takeoff/Landing

The E88 GT Drone simplifies flight initiation and termination with its one-key functions:

• One-Key Takeoff: Press the designated one-key takeoff button (usually indicated by an upward arrow icon). The drone will automatically ascend to a stable hovering height.
• One-Key Landing: Press the designated one-key landing button (usually indicated by a downward arrow icon). The drone will automatically descend and land gently.
• Emergency Stop: In case of an emergency, press the emergency stop button to immediately cut power to the motors. Use with caution.

4.3. Optical Flow Localization

The E88 GT Drone is equipped with Optical Flow Localization technology. This feature uses a downward-facing camera to analyze ground patterns, allowing the drone to maintain a stable position and hover accurately, especially in environments where GPS signals may be weak or unavailable.
