3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Inspect the composter for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Remove any protective films or packaging materials.
3.2 Filter Installation
The composter uses activated carbon filters to neutralize odors. Ensure these are correctly installed before first use.
- Locate the filter compartments, typically on the underside of the lid.
- Open the filter covers.
- Insert the activated charcoal packs into the charcoal boxes, then place the boxes into the compartments.
- Close the filter covers securely.

3.3 Placement
- Place the composter on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface, such as a kitchen countertop.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Adding Food Waste
- Open the composter lid.
- Place food waste directly into the removable kitchen waste bucket.
- Do not overfill the bucket beyond the maximum fill line. The capacity is 4L (1 Gallon).
- Close the lid securely before starting a cycle.

4.2 Control Panel Overview
The composter features a clear LED display and touch controls for easy operation.

- ON/OFF: Powers the unit on or off.
- Weight: (Self-Weighing Function) Automatically detects the weight of waste in Auto mode. Does not function in Manual mode.
- Auto Mode (A): Initiates an automatic composting cycle. Planning time is 4, 5, or 6 hours, determined by the waste weight.
- Manual Mode (M): Allows selection of 1, 2, or 3 hours planning time. Useful for supplementary processing.
- Clean: Activates the one-click self-cleaning mode.
- Filter/FMT: Indicates filter replacement (flashing) or Ferment (FMT) mode (takes about 10 hours).
4.3 Starting a Composting Cycle
- Ensure the composter is plugged in and the lid is closed.
- Press the ON/OFF button to power on the unit.
- Add food waste to the bucket.
- Select your desired mode:
- Press Auto (A) for an automatic cycle (4-6 hours based on waste weight).
- Press Manual (M) repeatedly to cycle through 1, 2, or 3 hours for a manual cycle.
- The composter will begin the drying, grinding, and cooling process.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Self-Cleaning Mode
The composter features a convenient self-cleaning function.
- Ensure the composter bucket is empty.
- Add clear water into the bucket (do not exceed the max fill line).
- Press the Clean button on the control panel.
- The cleaning cycle will run for approximately 30 minutes.
- After the cycle, empty any remaining water and wipe the bucket dry.

5.2 Bucket Cleaning
The removable kitchen waste bucket is constructed of reliable cast aluminum with a non-stick coating and is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- Remove the bucket from the composter unit.
- Wash by hand with warm, soapy water or place in a dishwasher.
- Ensure the bucket is completely dry before returning it to the composter.
5.3 Filter Replacement
The activated carbon filters should be replaced approximately every 3 months, or when the 'Filter' indicator flashes on the display.
- Unplug the composter from the power outlet.
- Open the filter covers on the underside of the lid.
- Remove the old charcoal boxes and activated charcoal packs.
- Insert new activated charcoal packs into the charcoal boxes and place them into the compartments.
- Close the filter covers securely.
6. Troubleshooting
