2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically takes approximately 25 minutes with only 6 main components. Follow these steps carefully.
- Attach Stabilizer Bars: Secure the front and rear stabilizer bars to the main frame using the provided bolts and washers. Ensure they are tightened securely.
- Install Seat: Slide the seat onto the rail of the main frame. Ensure it moves smoothly along the rail.
- Attach Foot Pedals: Connect the foot pedals to the main frame using the designated hardware. Make sure they are firmly attached and can pivot correctly.
- Connect Handlebar: Attach the handlebar to the pulling strap/chain mechanism.
- Install LCD Monitor: Mount the LCD monitor onto its designated bracket. Connect the sensor cables from the main frame to the monitor.
- Final Check: Review all connections and ensure all bolts are tightened. Test the rowing motion and resistance adjustment before first use.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Getting Started
Sit on the seat, place your feet firmly on the foot pedals, and secure them with the straps. Grasp the handlebar with both hands.
5.2. Adjusting Resistance
The YOSUDA H-181 features 16 levels of magnetic resistance. To adjust the resistance, turn the tension control knob located on the main unit. Turn clockwise for higher resistance and counter-clockwise for lower resistance. The magnetic resistance system provides a smooth and quiet workout experience.

5.3. LCD Monitor Functions
The integrated LCD monitor displays essential workout data in real-time. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries (included).

- TIME: Displays the duration of your workout.
- DIST: Shows the simulated distance covered.
- CAL: Estimates the calories burned during your session.
- CNT (Count): Displays the total number of strokes.
- SPM (Strokes Per Minute) / PACE: Shows your current stroke rate or pace.
- SCAN: Cycles through all metrics automatically.
Press the 'MODE' button to select specific display modes or activate the SCAN function.
5.4. Proper Rowing Technique
Effective rowing involves a coordinated movement of legs, core, and arms. Maintain a straight back and engage your core throughout the exercise.
- The Catch: Knees bent, shins vertical, arms extended forward, back straight, shoulders relaxed.
- The Drive: Push off with your legs, then lean back slightly from the hips, and finally pull the handlebar towards your abdomen.
- The Finish: Legs extended, body leaning back slightly, handlebar at your abdomen, elbows past your body.
- The Recovery: Extend arms forward, then lean forward from the hips, and finally bend your knees to return to the catch position.

5.5. App Connectivity (Bluetooth)
Connect your YOSUDA H-181 rowing machine via Bluetooth to compatible fitness applications on your smartphone or tablet. This allows you to track your performance, access varied workouts, and monitor your progress.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
