4. Setup and Installation

5. Operating Instructions

To operate the Holiday Essence 60 LED Mini Christmas Lights, simply plug the male end of the light string into a standard electrical outlet. The lights will illuminate immediately. To turn off, unplug the light string from the outlet.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Bulb Replacement

If a bulb burns out, it can be replaced using the provided spare bulbs. Follow these steps:

1. Pull Lamp Straight Out: Gently pull the non-working lamp straight out of its socket.
2. Remove Old Lamp: Remove the old lamp from its inner base by bending the leads straight.
3. Insert New Lamp: Insert the leads on the new lamp into the base and bend them upwards as shown in the diagram.
4. Push New Lamp and Base: Push the new lamp and base firmly into the socket. Do not twist.

WARNING: To avoid electric shock, maintain certain lamp leads. Do not extend beyond point A, or out of the socket. Trim leads if necessary.

6.2 Fuse Replacement

If the entire string of lights fails to illuminate, check the fuse located in the male plug. To replace the fuse:

1. Unplug the light string from the power outlet.
2. Slide open the fuse compartment cover on the plug.
3. Carefully remove the old fuse.
4. Insert a new fuse of the same type and rating (spare fuses are included).
5. Close the fuse compartment cover securely.

Before cleaning or storing, ensure the lights are unplugged. Wipe the bulbs and wires with a soft, dry cloth. Store the lights in a cool, dry place, preferably in their original packaging or a protective container, to prevent tangling and damage.
