The ubbo Z18 Dehumidifier is designed to reduce excess moisture in small spaces, improving air quality and preventing issues like mold and mildew. It features dual semiconductor condensers for efficient dehumidification, a large water tank, and user-friendly controls.

Safety Instructions

• Always place the dehumidifier on a stable, level surface.
• Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit. Do not block air inlets or outlets.
• Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
• Unplug the unit before cleaning or maintenance.
• Use only the provided power adapter.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the air inlets and outlets for optimal performance. The unit is suitable for spaces up to 850 sq.ft.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power adapter into the dehumidifier's power port, then plug the adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Drainage Setup (Choose one method):
   • Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The dehumidifier will collect water in its internal 95oz (approx. 2.8L) water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. Remove the tank, empty the water, and reinsert it to resume operation.

   • Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose): For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, attach the provided drain hose to the continuous drain port at the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.

Operating Instructions

The control panel is located on the front of the unit.

1. Power On/Off: Press the On/Off button to turn the unit on or off.
2. Light Function: Press the Light button to cycle through the colorful atmosphere lights or turn them off. This feature can also function as a night light.
3. Sleep Mode: Press the Sleep button to activate sleep mode. In this mode, the unit operates at a lower fan speed for quieter operation (approx. 30dB) and the display lights dim.
4. Timer Setting: Press the Timer button to set the operating duration. Available settings are 8 hours, 16 hours, or 24 hours. The unit will automatically shut off once the set time has elapsed.
5. Aromatherapy Box: The unit includes an aromatherapy box. Add a few drops of essential oil to the aromatherapy box to diffuse a pleasant scent while the dehumidifier operates.

6. Ionizer System: The dehumidifier is equipped with an ionizer system to help improve air quality. This function operates automatically when the unit is on.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.

1. Emptying the Water Tank: If using manual drainage, empty the water tank when the full indicator light illuminates. Pull out the tank, discard the collected water, and slide the tank back into place until it clicks securely.
2. Cleaning the Air Filter: The dehumidifier features washable air filters.
   • Turn off and unplug the unit.
   • Remove the filter cover (refer to Figure 7 for location).
   • Gently remove the air filter.
   • Wash the filter with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
   • Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it.
   • Reattach the filter cover.

3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
