5.4 Golf Mode
In Golf Mode, the rangefinder provides flagpole-lock vibration and slope compensation. When the device locks onto a flagpole, it will vibrate to confirm the target. The slope compensation feature adjusts the distance reading based on elevation changes, providing a 'play-as' distance.

Figure 5.6: Slope Compensation. This image visually explains how slope compensation works for both uphill and downhill measurements in golf.
5.5 BRD (Bow/Rifle) Mode
In BRD Mode, the rangefinder displays the line of sight distance, horizontal distance, and slope angle. This mode is ideal for bow and rifle shooting, providing precise angle compensation for accurate targeting.

Figure 5.7: BRD Mode. This image details the BRD mode display, showing how line of sight (SD) and horizontal distance (HD) are indicated for a deer target.

Figure 5.8: BRD Mode for Hunting. This image illustrates the application of BRD mode for hunting, showing true distance, horizontal distance, and angle compensation.
5.6 Scan Mode
Scan Mode allows for continuous ranging of moving objects or when sweeping across a landscape. Press and hold the Power button to activate continuous measurement.
5.7 Unit Switching (Meters/Yards)
To switch between meters and yards, press and hold the Mode button for a few seconds until the unit changes on the display.
