1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe operation, setup, and maintenance of your CHUBORY F89 4K HD FPV Drone. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the drone to ensure proper function and to prevent damage or injury.

Safety Precautions

  • Always operate the drone in strict accordance with local regulations and in open airspace, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
  • Ensure the drone's batteries are charged using the original charging cable and kept away from flammable materials. Do not overcharge.
  • Regularly inspect propellers and protective guards for damage and replace them if necessary.

2. Setup and Preparation

2.1 Unboxing and Components

Carefully open the package and ensure all components are present:

2.2 Battery Charging

Use the provided USB charging cable to charge the drone batteries. The red indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 180 minutes. Do not overcharge.

2.3 Controller Assembly

Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the remote controller. Attach the joysticks and extend the phone holder to mount your smartphone.

2.4 App Installation

Download and install the dedicated control app (e.g., HFun) on your smartphone. Scan the QR code provided in the manual or search in your app store.

2.5 Drone Preparation

  1. Install the charged battery into the drone.
  2. Unfold the drone arms until they lock into position.
  3. Place the drone on a level surface.
  4. Press and hold the power button on the drone until the LED lights begin flashing.

2.6 Connecting Controller and Phone

To connect the remote controller to the drone:

  1. Ensure the drone and controller are oriented in the same direction.
  2. Turn on the controller. Push the left joystick to its highest point, then back to the lowest point. The controller will beep, and its indicator lights will stop flashing, indicating a successful connection.

To connect your smartphone to the drone:

  1. Turn off your phone's cellular network.
