2. Safety Information

5. Setup and Installation

This battery is designed for downtube mounting. Ensure your ebike frame has the appropriate mounting points and sufficient space before installation.

1. Prepare Mounting Area: Clean the downtube area where the battery base will be installed.
2. Attach Bottom Bracket: Secure the provided bottom bracket (mounting base) to your ebike's downtube using appropriate screws (not included, typically provided with the ebike frame or purchased separately). Ensure it is firmly attached and aligned.
3. Connect Motor Wires: Connect the motor's power wires to the corresponding terminals on the battery's mounting base. Ensure correct polarity.
4. Slide in Battery: Carefully slide the battery pack onto the installed bottom bracket until it clicks into place.
5. Secure with Lock: Use the provided key to engage the anti-theft lock, securing the battery to the frame. Remove the key.
6. Check Connection: Gently tug on the battery to ensure it is securely mounted and does not wobble.

6. Charging Instructions

Follow these steps to safely charge your ebike battery:

1. Preparation:
   • Confirm that the model of the e-bike battery charger matches the battery's specifications.
   • Check for any loose or damaged connections on both the charger and the power adapter.
   • Ensure the charging environment is well-ventilated and free from high temperatures, humidity, or flammable materials.
2. Connect Charger to Battery: First, connect the charger's output plug to the battery's XLR charging port.
3. Connect Charger to Power: Next, connect the charger's power cord to a standard wall outlet.
4. Initiate Charging: If applicable, turn on the power switch on the battery or charger. The battery will begin charging. Monitor the charger's indicator light (usually red for charging, green for fully charged).
5. During Charging: Ensure the charger remains firmly connected. Avoid moving or bending the charging cable excessively during the charging process.
6. Completion: Once charging is complete (charger indicator turns green), disconnect the charger from the wall outlet first, then from the battery.

• Power Off: After your ride, turn off the battery by pressing and holding the power button until the indicator lights turn off. This conserves battery life.

8. Maintenance and Storage

Proper care extends the life of your battery:

• Regular Charging: If the battery is not used for an extended period, charge it periodically (e.g., once every 1-2 months) to maintain its health and prevent deep discharge. Aim for a charge level between 50-80% for long-term storage.
• Environmental Conditions: Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and excessive humidity. Avoid exposing the battery to rain for prolonged periods.
