Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Kolice KSDG-10 Commercial Blast Chiller & Freezer. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the appliance and retain it for future reference.

Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. Ensure the unit is properly grounded. Do not use extension cords or power strips. Keep the appliance away from water and heat sources. Only qualified personnel should perform maintenance or repairs.
Setup
Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. The unit is shipped in a plywood case.
- Place the unit on a stable, level surface. The unit is equipped with 4 wheels, 2 of which have brakes for secure positioning.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.
Electrical Connection
- Connect the unit directly to a dedicated 110V, 60Hz grounded wall outlet.
- DO NOT USE extension cords or power strips.
- The power cord length is approximately 98.43 inches (2.5 meters).
Initial Power On
- After plugging in, the compressor and condenser fans will start after approximately 1 second.
- Allow the unit to reach the desired temperature before loading food items.

Setting Temperature
- Press the "SET" button on the control panel.
- Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
- Press the "BACK" button to confirm and save the new temperature setting.

Using the Food Probe
- The unit is equipped with a food probe to measure the core temperature of food items.
- Press the "PROBE" button to view the current probe temperature. This button only displays the temperature and does not allow for setting.

Loading Food Items
- The unit comes with 10 stainless steel trays. The adjustable shelf design accommodates various tray sizes, including GN1/1 (400x600mm) bakery trays.
- Place food items evenly on the trays to ensure optimal air circulation and rapid chilling/freezing.
- The unit features a self-closing door and a 90° door opening for convenient loading and unloading.
- The internal fans stop operating when the door is open to reduce energy consumption.

Operating Modes and Temperature Ranges
- Chilling Rapidly: Reduces core temperature from +90°C (+194°F) to +3°C (+37.4°F) within 90 minutes.
- Freezing Rapidly: Reduces core temperature from +90°C (+194°F) to -18°C (-0.4°F) within 240 minutes.
- Keep Fresh Mode: Working temperature ranges from -3°C to -5°C (+26°F to +23°F).
- Keep Frozen Mode: Working temperature ranges from -18°C to -22°C (-0.4°F to -7.6°F).
- Lowest Temperature: The unit can reach -40°C (-40°F).
The smart temperature controller automatically adjusts based on internal temperature changes. The unit is suitable for preserving various items including fresh meat, dumplings, cakes, pastry products, seafood, ice cream, frozen food, and dough.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- The interior of the unit features rounded and sunken designs for easy cleaning.
- The removable door gasket allows for easy cleaning and replacement, ensuring good sealing.
- Regularly clean the interior and exterior with a mild detergent and soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Defrosting
- The machine features automatic defrost every 3 hours.
- To initiate a manual defrost, press and hold the "MANUAL DEFROST" button for 3 seconds.
- The unit also includes auto drainage for defrost water.
Air Circulation
- The 360-degree cool air convection system ensures uniform temperature and prevents frost buildup.
- Ensure the air vents are not obstructed to maintain efficient operation.
Troubleshooting
