Setup
1. Charging the Battery

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Volume Control
To power on the radio, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and a voice prompt. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the volume. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
2. Channel Selection
The Retevis B64 has 16 channels. To select a channel, rotate the Channel Selector knob to your desired channel number. Ensure all radios you wish to communicate with are set to the same channel.
3. Transmitting and Receiving
To transmit, press and hold the Push-to-Talk (PTT) button located on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and listen for a response. The radio will automatically receive signals when the PTT button is not pressed.
4. VOX Function (Voice Operated Exchange)
The VOX function allows for hands-free communication. When activated, the radio will automatically transmit when it detects your voice, without needing to press the PTT button. To activate VOX, long-press the side key (usually the button above PTT, if present and programmable for VOX).
