Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your PANDAAR Wireless Tour Guide System.

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure both the transmitter and receivers are fully charged using the provided charger and 5-in-1 charging cable. The devices are equipped with high-capacity batteries for extended use.

2. Connecting Microphones and Headphones

  1. Transmitter Microphone Connection: Insert the upright microphone or the head-mounted microphone into the 3.5mm microphone port on the TT1 transmitter.
  2. Receiver Headphone Connection: Plug the earphone into the 3.5mm headphone jack on each TR7 receiver.

3. Powering On/Off

To power on or off both the TT1 transmitter and TR7 receivers, long press the power button (often labeled OK or a dedicated power button) on each device.

4. ID Pairing (If not pre-paired)

The system is typically pre-paired at the factory. If re-pairing is needed or for new devices:

  1. Ensure both the transmitter (TT1) and receiver (TR7) are powered on.
  2. On the TT1 transmitter, use the arrow buttons to select the desired ID number.
  3. On the TR7 receiver, use the arrow buttons to match the ID number displayed on the transmitter.
  4. Once the IDs match, long press the OK button on the receiver to confirm the pairing. The system will indicate successful pairing.

Operating Instructions

1. One-Key Mute Function

To temporarily mute the microphone on the TT1 transmitter, short press the OK button. Press it again to unmute. This function allows the guide to pause audio transmission without powering off the device.

2. One-Key Power Off for Receivers

The TT1 transmitter can remotely power off all paired TR7 receivers. To do this, long press the left arrow button on the TT1 transmitter. This is useful for ending a tour efficiently.

3. Adjusting Volume

On the TR7 receiver, use the arrow buttons (left/right) to adjust the listening volume to a comfortable level.

4. Displaying Battery Level

To check the current battery level on either the transmitter or receiver, short press the right arrow button. The display will show the battery status.

5. Bluetooth Pairing (for Transmitter)

The TT1 transmitter supports Bluetooth connectivity for playing external audio sources.

  1. Enter Bluetooth Setup: Double-press the OK button on the TT1 transmitter.
  2. Enable Bluetooth: Press the left or right arrow button to enable Bluetooth. A "BT" icon will appear on the screen.
  3. Pairing: On your external device (phone, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for "TT1_XXX" (where XXX is the transmitter's ID). Select it to pair. A solid "BT" icon indicates successful pairing. A flashing "BT" icon indicates pairing failed.
  4. Return to Standby: Long press the OK button to exit Bluetooth setup and return to standby mode.
  5. Turn off Bluetooth: To turn off Bluetooth, enter the Bluetooth setup again and press the left or right arrow button until the "BT" icon disappears. Long press OK to return to standby.

6. Multiple Tour Modes

The system supports two primary modes for explanations:

  • Manual Explanation: One guide (using the transmitter) speaks to multiple listeners (using receivers).
  • Automatic Explanation: Connect an external audio source (e.g., phone, computer) via Bluetooth to the transmitter to play pre-recorded explanation audio to the receivers.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the transmitter and receivers with a soft, dry cloth. For hygienic purposes, especially with shared headsets, use a mild disinfectant wipe on the earhooks and earpieces. Ensure devices are powered off before cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the system components in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided carrying case for protection during transport and storage.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the devices frequently. Charge them regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Handle with Care: Avoid dropping or subjecting the devices to strong impacts.
