This device simultaneously displays current, minimum, and maximum temperatures, offering a comprehensive overview of environmental conditions. 3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
  2. Remove the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the supplied AAA alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2. Probe Placement

The bottle probe is designed to buffer rapid temperature changes, providing a more stable and accurate reading of the stored contents. The 10-ft (3-m) micro-cable allows the probe to be placed inside the monitored environment while the main unit remains outside.

3.3. Mounting the Main Unit

The main thermometer unit can be mounted in several ways:

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

The unit powers on automatically upon battery installation. There is no dedicated power button. To turn off, remove the battery.

The large LCD display shows three temperature readings simultaneously:

Press the °F/°C button (if available, or a similar labeled button) to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales.

4.4. Viewing and Clearing Min/Max Memory

The thermometer automatically records the minimum and maximum temperatures reached since the last memory reset. These values are continuously displayed.

4.5. Setting Alarms

The thermometer features programmable high and low temperature alarms. An alarm will sound when the temperature exceeds the high set point or falls below the low set point. The alarm continues to sound even if the temperature returns to the non-alarm range until acknowledged.

  1. Press the SET button to enter alarm setting mode.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to adjust the desired high temperature alarm limit.
  3. Press SET again to confirm the high limit and proceed to set the low temperature alarm limit.
  4. Use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to adjust the desired low temperature alarm limit.
  5. Press SET a third time to exit alarm setting mode and save the settings.
  6. To enable or disable the alarm, press the ALARM ON/OFF button. An alarm icon will typically appear on the display when the alarm is active.
  7. To silence a sounding alarm, press any button. The alarm will reactivate if the temperature remains outside the set limits.

5.1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the accuracy and longevity of your thermometer.

5.2. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the unit stops functioning, it is time to replace the battery. Refer to Section 3.1 for battery installation instructions.

5.3. Probe Care

The bottle probe is designed for durability. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable, which could damage the internal wiring. The probe is freezer safe and can remain in the monitored environment continuously.
