5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Genwiss GN-A32 flashlight.

  • After Each Dive: Rinse the outer surface of the flashlight with fresh water to remove salt and debris. Dry thoroughly before storage.
  • O-Ring Care: Regularly inspect O-rings for damage or dirt. Clean and lightly lubricate them with silicone grease. Replace damaged O-rings promptly using the provided spares. Do not add extra O-rings beyond the intended two, as this may compromise the seal.
  • Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Genwiss GN-A32 flashlight, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Light Flashes or Does Not Turn On: Ensure the flashlight tail cap is tightened securely. The spring of the tail cap must be fully connected to the battery bottom for proper function. Check battery charge level.
  • Water Leakage: Immediately remove the battery. Inspect all O-rings for proper seating, cleanliness, lubrication, and damage. Replace any compromised O-rings. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly.
  • Reduced Brightness: Check the battery charge. Ensure the lens is clean and free from scratches or debris.
