4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your KomeStone G1 Rock Tumbler:
- Place the Tumbler: Position the tumbler on a stable, flat surface.
- Prepare the Barrel: Open the 4LB rubber barrel.
- Add Materials: Place your rough rocks into the barrel. Add the appropriate polishing grit for the current stage and sufficient water to cover the rocks and grit.
- Seal the Barrel: Securely fasten the lid onto the barrel. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent leaks during operation.
- Position the Barrel: Place the sealed barrel onto the rollers of the tumbler base. Ensure the lid side is facing left.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the tumbler and then into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
The KomeStone G1 features smart controls for easy operation:
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn the tumbler on or off.
- Set Timer: Use the DAYS + and DAYS - buttons to set the desired tumbling duration, up to 9 days.
- Adjust Speed: Use the SPEED + and SPEED - buttons to select one of 3 speed settings.
- Pause/Resume: Press the PAUSE/RESUME button to temporarily stop the tumbling cycle. Press it again to resume without losing your settings.
- Memory Function: The tumbler retains your last settings even after a power interruption.
- Automatic Shutoff: The tumbler will automatically stop once the set time is complete.

- Cleaning: After each tumbling stage, thoroughly clean the barrel and rocks to remove all grit residue before proceeding to the next stage.
- Drive Belt Replacement: The drive belts are subject to natural wear over time, especially under heavy loads. The kit includes 2 spare belts. To replace a belt, carefully remove the old belt and install a new one around the motor pulley and barrel roller. Additional belts can be requested from KomeStone support.
