This mini-split unit ships in two packages (indoor & outdoor units), which may not arrive at the same time. Please contact customer support if you have any questions regarding delivery or installation.
Ensure proper ventilation for both indoor and outdoor units. Strictly prohibit the operation of open flame in the installation location, especially when dealing with refrigerants like R32. For detailed information, please refer to the unit installation manual.
For units with R410A, R32, or R454B, gas leakage detection operation must be carried out after the pipes connection of the indoor and outdoor units to ensure the refrigeration system is without gas leakage. It must be vacuumed to ensure that the system is without air inside. Ensure that the indoor and outdoor connection wires and power supply are connected correctly and reliably.
When the indoor and outdoor connection pipe exceeds the standard length, extra refrigerant needs to be added. The specific additional quantity must be based on the different refrigerants R410A, R32, or R454B, and model types.
2. Product Overview
The DEMULLER 9000BTU 4-in-1 Split Air Conditioner & Heater is a versatile inverter system designed to provide year-round comfort. It efficiently cools and heats rooms up to 450 sq. Ft. with a 17 SEER2 efficiency rating and uses R32 refrigerant for reduced energy consumption.
This unit features Cool, Heat, Dry, and Fan modes. Smart features include a 24-hour timer, Turbo mode, ECO mode, Sleep mode, automatic defrosting, and self-cleaning functions. It operates quietly for peaceful sleep and can function in environments as low as -4 °F and as high as 122 °F.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation
Professional installation is strongly recommended for this unit. The following steps provide an overview of the installation process. Refer to the detailed installation manual included in the package for complete instructions.
4.1 Indoor Unit Installation
The wall for the indoor unit installation should be hard, flat, and firm to avoid vibration and noise. Use the provided paper pattern to identify the exact location for drilling screw holes and the wall hole for pipes. Ensure the wall hole has a certain angle of inclination, high on the inside and low on the outside, for proper drainage.

4.2 Wiring the Indoor Unit
Lift the cover of the indoor unit and remove the two screws of the power cord and the internal screws holding the cord. Thread the 5.9ft communication cable through the hole on the back of the indoor unit. Fix the wires according to their color to the corresponding positions on the terminal block. Ensure the presser plate is fixed to the main cable.
4.3 Connecting Pipes and Drainage
Expand the pipes and connect them to the indoor unit. Take off the closed caps on the two metal air tubes and connect them to the pipes of the air conditioning unit, ensuring the interfaces are tightly fitted and tightened with a wrench. Connect the thicker end of the corrugated hose to the drain pipe of the indoor unit. Line up all wires and pipes neatly, turn them to the position of the corresponding holes, and wrap them together with plastic tapes.
4.4 Mounting the Indoor Unit
Hang the indoor unit on the wall bracket. Run the pipes and wires through the previously punched holes and cover them with pipe protection rings inside and outside the walls. Plug any excess holes using putty to ensure a sealed installation.
4.5 Outdoor Unit Installation
Place the outdoor unit in a suitable location. This may be outside the wall bracket or on the ground (equipment for this will need to be purchased separately). Leave out the drain pipe and tape off the remaining pipes. Connect the two pipes to the outdoor unit, ensuring the joints fit snugly and are tightened. Remove the 3 screws from the cover and use a tool to open the two holes at the lower end of the cover. Pass the wires through the cover hole (usually the right-hand hole). Fix the 3 wires of the power cable one by one according to the color, and secure the fixing plate. Fix the 4 wires of the communication cable one by one according to the color.
4.6 Electrical Connections
Install the other end of the power cord on the power supply: green for ground wire, black for fire wire, and white for zero wire. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly matched according to color codes.
4.7 Vacuuming and Leakage Detection
Unscrew the three nuts circled on the outdoor unit. Connect the stop valve, charging hose manifold, and vacuum pump. Vacuum for at least 15 minutes, ensuring the value on the pressure gauge is ≤ -0.1MPa (-76cmHg / 500µm). Keep the pressure for 35 minutes after vacuuming. Make sure springback is ≤ 0.05MPa. Open 1/4 liquid valve, then remove the charging hose. Using an allen wrench, open all the liquid valves and gas valves, and finally retighten the three caps. Pour in 500ml water along the evaporator (about 20 seconds) to check if water is flowing from the pipe outside the wall, confirming proper drainage.
5. Operating Instructions
The DEMULLER 9000BTU AC unit offers multiple modes and settings for optimal comfort. Use the handy remote control to select modes, adjust temperature, or change wind speed from your bed or sofa.
