1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your BAOSHISHAN T2 45L Mini Aquarium Cooler and Heater. This device is designed to maintain a stable water temperature in your aquarium, ensuring a healthy environment for aquatic life. It features precise temperature control, low noise operation, and an integrated water pump for convenience.
2. Important Safety Information
- Pre-Assembly Check: Ensure the machine is fully assembled before powering it on for testing.
- Initial Water Presence: It is normal for the machine to contain residual water from factory testing. This does not indicate a used or faulty product.
- Saltwater Aquarium Use: For saltwater aquariums, the water pipes must be flushed with fresh water for 1-2 hours prior to use. Failure to do so may compromise the health of aquatic creatures due to potential oil residue inside the machine.
- Full Power Operation: The device will operate at full power when there are significant temperature differences between the desired setting and the current water temperature.
- Placement: Position the chiller on the left side of the aquarium, leaving ample space on the left side of the machine for heat dissipation.

5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your aquarium chiller:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and verify against the package contents list.
- Positioning: Place the chiller unit on a stable, flat surface next to your aquarium. It is recommended to position the chiller on the left side of the aquarium, ensuring sufficient space (at least 10-15 cm) on the left side for proper heat dissipation.
- Connect Hoses:
- Connect the silicone hoses to the inlet and outlet ports of the chiller.
- Attach the water inlet filter to the end of the inlet hose that will be submerged in the aquarium.
- Attach the flat spout for water outlet to the end of the outlet hose that will return water to the aquarium.
- Secure the hoses within the aquarium using the provided pipe bracket.
- Submerge Hoses: Place the inlet filter and outlet spout into the aquarium, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the chiller unit and then plug it into a suitable power outlet.
- Initial Priming (Automatic): The built-in self-priming water circulation design automatically purges air and fills with water upon first power-on. One-touch operation completes this process.

Indicator Lights:
- Blue light: Indicates Cooling mode.
- Red light: Indicates Heating mode.
- Green light: Indicates the machine has stopped working (e.g., reached target temperature).
6.2. Smart App Control (T2 Smart Version)
The T2 Smart Version allows for remote control and monitoring via a mobile application. Refer to the product description or scan the QR code in the manual (if provided) to download the app.

Figure 6.2: Mobile App Interface for Chiller Control
The app provides a simple and clear user interface, allowing you to:
- Control pump modes (constant speed, timer, wave making).
- Set temperature alarms.
- Calibrate water temperature.
- Monitor electricity usage.
- Select temperature control strategies (Constant temperature mode, Classic mode, Two-point mode).
6.3. Noise Level
The chiller is designed for low-noise operation, featuring an integrated self-priming water circulation pump and a low-noise fan with dual ball bearings. In thermostat mode, the noise level is approximately 35 decibels, making it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, and offices.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your chiller.
- Cleaning Hoses: For saltwater aquariums, it is crucial to flush the water pipes with fresh water for 1-2 hours before initial use and periodically thereafter to prevent residue buildup that could harm aquatic life.
- Filter Maintenance: Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter and filter cotton cover to ensure unrestricted water flow.
- Unit Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the chiller unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Modular Design: The modular design allows for easy cleaning of internal components if necessary. Refer to the product diagram for component access.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your BAOSHISHAN T2 chiller, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chiller not turning on | No power supply; Loose power connection; Blown fuse. | Check power outlet; Ensure power cord is securely connected; Replace fuse (refer to package contents for spare). |
| Water not circulating | Hoses kinked or blocked; Inlet filter clogged; Pump malfunction. | Check hoses for kinks or obstructions; Clean inlet filter; Contact customer support if pump is faulty. |
| Temperature not stable or incorrect | Incorrect temperature setting; Sensor issue; Significant ambient temperature fluctuations; Chiller capacity exceeded. | Verify target temperature setting; Ensure water flow is adequate; Allow time for temperature stabilization; Ensure aquarium size is within recommended limits (up to 45L). Calibrate temperature via app if necessary. |
| Unusual noise during operation | Air trapped in system; Unit not level; Fan obstruction. | Allow automatic priming to complete; Ensure unit is on a flat surface; Check for any obstructions around the fan vents. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
