Setup

1. Camera and Monitor Pairing

The camera and monitor are typically pre-paired at the factory. If re-pairing is necessary or if adding additional cameras, follow these steps:

1. Plug in the camera to a power source. Wait approximately 20 seconds for the camera to start and emit a prompt tone.
2. Power on the 5-inch parent monitor.
3. On the monitor, navigate to the menu and select 'Add a camera'.
4. Short press the 'Reset' button on the camera. The camera will emit a prompt tone indicating it's ready for pairing.
5. The monitor will automatically detect and pair with the camera.

2. App Connection

To connect the camera to the smartphone application:

1. Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Register or log in to your account.
3. Long press the 'Reset' button on the camera for 3 seconds until a prompt tone is heard, then release. This puts the camera in app connection mode.
4. In the app, tap '+' to add a device. Allow necessary permissions (location, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) for connection purposes. No personal data will be stored or disclosed.
5. Select 'Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)' or 'PTZ Camera (Wi-Fi)' from the device list.
6. Follow the in-app instructions to connect to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.
7. Once connected successfully, the camera will emit a prompt tone.

Motion & Cry Detection

Receive real-time alerts on your parent unit or smartphone when motion or crying is detected. Sensitivity levels can be adjusted (High, Medium, Low) to suit your needs.

VOX Mode
