4. Installation Guide

Follow these steps to properly install the VCELINK RJ45 Toolless Cat7 Connector onto your Ethernet cable. While no crimping tool is needed, a cable stripper/cutter is recommended.

1. Prepare the Cable: Slide the cable boot and retaining ring onto the Ethernet cable.
2. Strip the Cable: Carefully strip approximately 20-25mm (0.8-1 inch) of the outer jacket from the Ethernet cable. Be cautious not to damage the internal wires.
3. Expose Wires: Remove any shielding or foil to expose the twisted pairs. Untwist the wire pairs.
4. Arrange Wires: Straighten the individual wires and arrange them according to either the T568A or T568B wiring standard. Ensure consistency if connecting to an existing network.
5. Insert into Load Bar: Carefully insert the arranged wires into the color-coded load bar. Ensure each wire is fully seated in its correct slot.

9. Secure Retaining Ring: Slide the retaining ring forward and twist it to lock the cable in place, providing strain relief.
10. Attach Dust Cover: If not immediately connecting, attach the dust cover to protect the contacts.

Important Wiring Standards:

Always use the same wiring standard (T568A or T568B) on both ends of a cable for a standard straight-through connection.
