2. Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following:

  • Read all instructions before installing or operating this appliance.
  • Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated construction.
  • Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • Sufficient air is needed for proper combustion and exhausting of gases through the flue (chimney) of fuel-burning equipment to prevent back-drafting. 3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and safety of your range hood. Please follow these guidelines carefully.

3.1 Clearance Requirements

  • Maintain a minimum clearance of 34 inches between the bottom of the range hood and the cooking surface for gas stoves.
  • Maintain a minimum clearance of 32 inches between the bottom of the range hood and the cooking surface for electric ranges.

3.2 Optimal Fan Positioning

The fans are positioned 14 inches from the wall and directly above the front burners to ensure optimal ventilation performance and effective capture of cooking fumes.

3.3 Ducting Options

The range hood supports two ducting configurations:

  • 6-inch duct: Provides up to 700 CFM airflow.
  • 7-inch duct: Provides up to 800 CFM airflow.

4.1 Power and Fan Speed Control

4.2 Lighting Control

4.3 Self-Cleaning Function

The innovative self-cleaning function simplifies maintenance:

  • Press the dedicated self-cleaning button to activate the function.
  • The system will initiate an automatic heating cycle that melts up to 90% of accumulated oil buildup.
  • The function will automatically shut off upon completion.
